The Paris Agreement: 10 years of action by AFD Group

Ten years on, AFD Group has delivered on its commitment: to align 100% of its operations with the Paris Agreement and to mobilize nearly €70 billion for climate action between 2015 and 2025. From climate and biodiversity financing to support for millions of farms and households gaining access to electricity, and the protection of tens of millions of hectares of ecosystems – the results are concrete and measurable.

Through joint action with public development banks, including via the International Development Finance Club (IDFC) and the Finance in Common movement, AFD is contributing to the transformation of financial systems to make public and private investment more sustainable; benefiting the climate, nature, and the most vulnerable communities.
