The Alliance brings together governments, multilateral development banks, civil society organizations, and the private sector around a common goal : strengthening institutions, protecting vulnerable populations, and curbing illicit financial flows that fuel insecurity and undermine sustainable development. The initiative is structured around a steering committee and three technical working groups focused on protecting at-risk populations, reinforcing security and justice systems, and disrupting illicit economies.

"Security and development must go hand in hand,” said Rémy Rioux, CEO of the AFD group.By joining this Alliance, AFD group reaffirms its commitment to address shared security challenges and build more resilient, inclusive and sustainable societies across the region.
